Erection problems (impotence) are very common, particularly in men over 40.
Most men occasionally fail to get or keep an erection. This is usually due to stress, tiredness, anxiety or drinking too much alcohol, and it’s nothing to worry about.
If it happens more often, it may be caused by physical or emotional problems.

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. These effects are normally mild to moderate in nature.
If you experience any of the following side effects stop using the medicine and seek medical help immediately:
allergic reactions including rashes (frequency uncommon). chest pain – do not use nitrates but seek immediate medical assistance (frequency uncommon). priapism, a prolonged and possibly painful erection after taking CIALIS (frequency rare). If you have such an erection, which lasts continuously for more than 4 hours you should contact a doctor immediately. sudden loss of vision (frequency rare). Other side effects have been reported:
Common (seen in 1 to 10 in every 100 patients)
headache, back pain, muscle aches, pain in arms and legs, facial flushing, nasal congestion, and indigestion. Uncommon (seen in 1 to 10 in every 1,000 patients)
dizziness, stomach ache, feeling sick, being sick (vomiting), reflux, blurred vision, eye pain, difficulty in breathing, presence of blood in urine, prolonged erection, pounding heartbeat sensation, a fast heart rate, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, nose bleeds, ringing in the ears, swelling of the hands, feet or ankles and feeling tired. Rare (seen in 1 to 10 in every 10,000 patients)
fainting, seizures and passing memory loss, swelling of the eyelids, red eyes, sudden decrease or loss of hearing, hives (itchy red welts on the surface of the skin), penile bleeding, presence of blood in semen and increased sweating. Heart attack and stroke have also been reported rarely in men taking CIALIS. Most of these men had known heart problems before taking this medicine.
Partial, temporary, or permanent decrease or loss of vision in one or both eyes has been rarely reported.
While most men find CIALIS well tolerated, it is rare that any of the side effects mentioned can be reported. These effects are:6: 1 headache, 1 back pain, 1 indigestion, 1 muscle ache, 1 reflux, 1 shortness of breath, 1 swelling of the jaw, 1 bleeding problem.
Not typically used in men with urinary problems in the bladder.

No major side effects have been reported in men taking CIALIS.
Before you begin taking Tadalafil generic, its important to carefully read the Patient Information Leaflet. Make sure to review it each time you get a refill.
Take Tadalafil dosage orally, either with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider. Tadalafil dosage should not exceed more than once a day. Swallow the tablet whole. Do not split it or crush unless advised.
Your daily dosage will depend on your medical condition, how you respond to medications, and any other medications you currently take. Before you take ED treatment pills, ensure that you inform your healthcare service provider of any prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, and any other supplements you take.
If you are also using finasteride alongside Tadalafil to treat any symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), discuss the duration of treatment and dosage you will need with your healthcare provider.

If you are using tadalafil generic for erectile dysfunction, follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
Patients taking tadalafil may experience dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, diarrhea, muscle aches, nausea, and sexual flushing.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is the same time of dose as that of the day before,ausible but true discomforts can occur. Patients who take tadalafil should have no serious dizziness or lightheadedness.
Try to take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
Take the medication regularly, using the prescribed frequency, as directed by your doctor. To ensure you do not forget, take it the same time a dose may be missed.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. When not taken too frequently, avoid taking your daily dose of tadalafil at the same time.
If you have a sudden loss of vision, contact your doctor immediately or get medical help if you have one.

Possible drug interactions
Some drugs/medications may interact with Tadalafil. You should not take Tadalafil if you are taking nitrates (such as nitroglycerin tablets or patches) because the combination of these with Tadalafil could significantly lower blood pressure and lead to fainting or even death. Additionally, do not take Tadalafil if you are taking Cisapride, other ED medications (e.g. Viagra), Adcirca, or Riociguat.

Other important safety information
Patients who have a condition called “left ventricular outlet obstruction” from valvular problems or heart muscle enlargement may get side effects such as fainting or light-headedness. Because patients with recent heart attacks or stroke, heart pains (angina), heart failure, uncontrolled blood pressure or uncontrolled irregular heart beats, severe liver disease, and retinal eye problems have not been studied, Tadalafil (Cialis) is not recommended for these patients. There may be rare occurrences of priapism or painful, prolonged erections. This is a serious condition that requires immediate medical attention. Patients should seek prompt medical attention if their erection lasts longer than four hours.
After taking a single tablet, Tadalafil can remain in the body for up to two days. It can remain longer if patients have problems with their kidneys or liver, or they are taking certain other medications.

Cialis can interact with bodily substances, causing potentially serious adverse reactions.
Specifically, you should inform your health care provider of any alpha-blocker, antifungal, HIV protease inhibitor, or high blood pressure medication you are taking. Remember to mention any herbal products you use, especially St. John’s wort.
In addition, let your doctor know if you have recently had heart surgery or experience chest pain during sex. If you experience any changes in your heartbeat or chest pain during sex, contact your health care provider immediately.
